ten years ago…
travis (boy) & melissa (girl) were married on a soft spring afternoon.
their wedding was all kinds of romantic & the rain only added to that.
inside the atrium, billowing clouds poured through the glass
while raindrops slow danced down the windows.
tiny white lights hugged the trees that lined the aisle,
& a beautiful bride walked down to meet her loving groom.

one month ago…
we returned to meadowlark gardens where the two had gotten married.
hand in hand, they wandered through the gardens
& reminisced about that lovely day.

& forever…
their story has always been one of my favorite love stories.
& maybe i’m a little biased because he is my brother & she is my sister in law.
& it’s one of those love stories that i’ve been watching grow
since i was twelve years old. but nonetheless, it’s a beautiful one.
